Hayward’s Homegrown Candidate

As a lifelong Hayward resident, I am running for the Hayward Unified School District School Board for a single but powerful reason: to ensure our students receive a quality education.

If elected, I would be the only board member that is an alumnus of Hayward schools, having attended Treeview Elementary, Bret Hart Middle School, and Hayward High School. I believe it is important to have firsthand experience and knowledge of our schools as a student. If elected, every decision I make will always be based on careful analysis of the issues, keeping in mind what is best for the students.

As a Hayward Library Commissioner and Friends of the Hayward Public Library Board member for the past 8 years, I helped bring a brand new, state of the art library and community learning center to Hayward. As a Board member, I supported initiatives that helped to fund scholarships, expand the homework help centers, support literacy programs, and promote a variety of programs geared at enriching the lives of Hayward Youth.

Please join me work to improve our district’s academic performance, create an equitable, safer learning environment, and creatively collaborate to keep the district fiscally solvent. I would be honored to have 1 of your 3 votes on November 3rd for HUSD School Board
